Summer Reading

Summer Reading

June 1 to August 8, 2026

How it Works

There are separate programs for kids, and teens and adults.

Set a daily reading goal, then log each day you read on the reading log or in our program app tracker, Beanstack.

You can read or listen to books that you feel are appropriate for your age, reading level, and interests.

Magazines, newspapers, and websites do not count towards your reading goal, but items you read for other library programs (e.g., Extreme Book Nerd) do count.

Level Prizes are available at the 2nd and 3rd Floor Desks until 5:45pm on Saturday, August 15 (one week after the program has ended).

Grand Prize entry tickets are awarded upon completing various tasks, such as visiting the library, attending programs, or reading books in certain genres.

Grand Prize tickets can be entered on Beanstack until Saturday, August 8, at 11:59pm.

Each participant must have their own membership.

Some prize options may have limited quantities and may not be available for all patrons.

**Please note: In order to claim prizes, your IFPL membership (library card) must be current and in good standing, in accordance with library policy.

How to Sign Up*
