Volunteer at the Library —

Are you interested in volunteering at the Idaho Falls Public Library? Please read the information below, then fill out and submit our volunteer application.

Volunteer opportunities include:

• Helping with summer reading
• Unboxing and receiving new books
• Helping in the computer room
• Helping with makerspace materials and activities

In addition to the tasks listed above, any volunteer may be asked to complete additional assignments such as alphabetizing recently returned books, shelf reading (checking for correct shelving order), straightening books on shelves, preparing and presenting library programs, removing stickers from books, processing in-house check outs, and refilling brochures at desks.

All volunteers must pass a background check. For additional information, please read the instructions and details on the application form.

Return your completed application to the library administration office (first floor, by the elevator) or to the email listed on the application. Complete and return all 3 pages of the application. Incomplete applications will not be processed.
