Free Personal Computing
Library computers allow you to browse the internet, check email, use social media, prepare documents and files using Microsoft Office products, search for jobs, complete online applications, and much more. If you plan to watch videos, play games, listen to music, or otherwise need to hear sound while on the computer, bring headphones. You cannot download and install software from the internet on library computers. Bring your own USB drive if you plan to create and save files such as a resume or a school paper.
For your security, when you log off a library computer, it will reset and erase all the files you created as well as your internet activity. Library staff in the computer room are available to help you log into the computer and open available software programs. If you need additional help beyond this, we can help you find online tutorials.
†Guest passes are only available to adults over age 18 (learn more).
In addition to printing through library computers, patrons and guests can print wirelessly from a personal laptop.
