From the Forest to the Falls

November 6 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Come to the Idaho Falls Public Library Parking Lot and along Capital Avenue for this free public event!

On Friday, November 6 from 5:30 to 7:30pm, the U.S. Capital Christmas Tree is making a stop in Idaho Falls!

Enjoy live music, winter crafts and stories, create handmade ornaments for the tree’s journey to Washington, D.C., and explore educational and interactive booths highlighting Idaho’s national forests and the people who care for them.

The event is being hosted locally by the City of Idaho Falls, Idaho Falls Power and the Idaho Falls Public Library, in partnership with the U.S. Department of Agriculture Forest Service, including the local Caribou-Targhee National Forest, as well as the Society of American Foresters, the nonprofit partner for the U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree Tour.
