It’s time for the 2026 Book Madness at the Idaho Falls Public Library!

How It Works

Throughout the month of March, the Idaho Falls Public library will participate in Book Madness! Starting March 2nd, adults and teens can come into the library and vote for their favorite book genre. Limit one ballot per day.

Use the ballot to vote for your favorite genre in each bracket. Each week, we’ll count the ballots and advance the winning genres to the next round.

For the teen and adult program, if you vote for the genre that wins the final bracket, you’ll be entered into a drawing for a Kindle Fire 7!

Please note that ballots do not move forward week by week, so it’s important that you return to cast new votes in the next round. Also, you don’t have to vote in every bracket, but it will increase your chances of winning.

At the end of the challenge, we’ll hold a final drawing among ballots cast for the winning genre. The winner of this drawing will receive a Kindle Fire tablet.
