DESCRIPTION:Ready to dive into the world of technology? “Technology for Teens” is your ticket to exploring the most exciting tech subjects! \nJoin us for a dynamic 6-week long workshop series that’s all about unveiling the wonders of modern technology. Each session is a journey into some of tech’s most thrilling advancements! \nRegistration for the September 8th to October 17th session is OPEN. \nClass Schedule \n\nWhen: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM and Saturdays from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM\nWhere: Idaho Falls Public Library – 2nd Floor Makerspace\nFor: Ages 12-18\nCurrent Series : OPEN: September 8th to October 17th.\n\nSign up to attend just one of the daily session to be held September 8 to October 17. Then attend each week on that day until the end of the course. \nEach daily session is limited to 9 students and is open to teen library patrons\, ages 12-18. Classes are free\, but an active library card is required. The library will provide equipment during class instruction.  \nDon’t wait to sign up! DESCRIPTION:Get rewarded for reading! \nHow it works: Your challenge is to read at least ONE book a month. If you read more than one book per month\, awesome! (Sadly\, you don’t get extra rewards from IFPL.) You cannot work ahead. \nRecord the author and title for the book you read each month on   the Printable reading log or on Beanstack\, then come to the 2nd Floor Desk to claim your prize. Limit one prize per book per month. \nItems you can count: Junior Fiction; Young Adult Fiction and Nonfiction; Junior and Young Adult Graphic Novels; Adult Fiction and Nonfiction; and Large Print. Audiobook and eBook versions of these books are accepted and encouraged. All books must be at least 150 pages. Anything you read for school or other IFPL reading challenges (e.g. Summer Reading) counts for this challenge. \nItems you cannot count: Anything else from the Children’s Department EXCEPT for Junior Fiction and Graphic Novels; newspapers; magazines; PDFs; websites; fan fiction found on the internet; books under 150 pages. \nParticipants cannot be enrolled in either of the Extreme Book Nerd programs and Turn the Page at the same time – you must choose the ONE program that works best for you. \nYou MUST have a current library membership in order to be eligible to pick up prizes. \nPrizes are available until January 15\, 2026. \n\nFor more information\, send us a message online or call 208-612-8460.
