Summer Adventures

Are you ready for an adventure?

You can come join the Idaho Falls Public Library for some Summer Adventures Mondays at 10:30am! There will be a different guest speaker and activity each day.

• Date: June 10th – Guest Speaker: Forest Ranger – Activity: Dissect Owl Pellets
• Date: June 17th – Guest Speaker: Dentist – Activity: Plaque experiment
• Date: June 24th – Guest Speaker: Puppeteer – Activity: Design a puppet
• Date: July 1st – Guest Speaker: Scientist – Activity: Do experiments
• Date: July 8th – Guest Speaker: Archaeologist – Activity: Dig for Fossils
• Date: July 15th – Guest Speaker: Astronomer – Activity: STARLab / NASA
• Date: July 22nd – Guest Speaker: Beekeeper – Activity: Live beehive
• Date: July 29th – Guest Speaker: Robotic Engineer – Activity: Robots / Bristlebot
• Date: August 5th – Guest Speaker: Horticulturist – Activity: Press Flowers
• Date: August 12th – Guest Speaker: Artist – Activity: Create art

Registration is not needed. But each activity is limited to 75 children.

Reminders:

Every child must have and bring their own library card to the program in order to participate.

Summer Adventures is for ages 7-12.

There will be a Storytime and craft for ages 0-6 on Mondays at 10:30.
