Participate in a week-long Teen Writing Camp that will dig into how to write fiction, dialogue, plot, characters, and more!
This is a workshop where young adults and teens will learn concepts and methods on how to write stories.
How to create characters, how to plot, how conflict is the backbone to any story, understanding how the actions of characters effect the direction of the plot, and the importance of the emotional resonance in a story and why it is needed.
This class will teach you how to write stories that stay with your readers long after the book is set down.
From June 9th-13th, every day from 1pm-4pm, ages 12-18 can come learn with writer workshops.

Saturday on June 14th, 2025, it’s an Authorpalooza!
Join the Idaho Falls Public Library for an All-Day local author celebration.
- 12:30pm-4pm: Author panels discussing topics readers and writers often ask.
- 4pm-6pm: Open floor for asking questions, networking with local authors, and book signings.
There will also be an Adult Writing Workshop:
- 10am-12pm: A 2-hour workshop to learn techniques and tips on how to write fiction, dialogue, plot, characters, and more!
