Meet the Author – Ed Marohn
Oct 26 @ 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm

You’re invited to join the Idaho Falls Public Library as we welcome local author Ed Marohn. Ed has recently released the second book in his John Moore Mystery series—Legacy of Evil.

book cover imageLegacy of War—Psychologist John Moore is shaken when his PTSD Vietnam War patient reveals war crimes committed with a CIA agent and a South Vietnamese Army colonel. Moore, who served in the Vietnam War commanding an infantry company with the 101st Airborne Division, and still depressed over his wife’s death, flashes back to his own war demons. The following day, the patient is found dead—an apparent suicide. Stunned, Moore begins investigating the death, the rogue CIA agent, and the lethal Vietnam War apparatus—the CIA’s Phoenix Program—in which 81,740 communists and innocent Vietnamese civilians were killed.

book cover imageLegacy of Evil—CIA psychologist John Moore finds himself in the middle of a “factions war” between the present second-in-command of the CIA, James Woodruff, and a rival connected to the neo-Nazis who will stop at nothing to unseat him. Woodruff sends Moore to Holland and Germany to help expose any neo-Nazis who had infiltrated the CIA. In the process, he meets with former members of the Baader-Meinhof Gang, an anarchist group that committed murders and bombings in West Germany and other parts of Europe starting in the 1970s. He soon learns that a nuclear device fell into their hands and has been unaccounted for after all these years.
