Connecting Generations

Every year the Idaho Falls Public Library holds a series of book talks in coordination with a state-wide Let’s Talk About It program. The 2018 theme in Idaho Falls is “Connecting Generations.” Discussions begin on January 18 and continue through March 15. Books are available as sets at the Idaho Falls Public Library.

This year’s theme invites people of all ages to read and discuss books that highlight both the differences and similarities between generations. By opening discussion about issues in different stages of life, these book talks foster understanding and empathy. Adults will remember what it was like to be young, and younger readers will have glimpses into the land of adulthood.
