Book Sales Help the Library!
The Friends of the Library
sponsor four used book sales each year. The proceeds
from these sales are used to help the library better serve the patrons. The Friends of the
Library have been an important part of the success of the library for many years and they offer used books at amazingly low prices to the
public. Come in and see what they have!
The Friends are always interested in receiving donations of used
books and other items such as records, movies, pictures, and puzzles. All
donations to the Friends of the Library are tax deductible. Donations may
be left on the table in the garage on the East side of the library during
library hours.

If you are interested in becoming a member, click on
Membership Form below for a form to print out. Fill it out, and mail it with
your check to the address below. The membership year runs from June
1 to May 31. There are a lot of activities to do, so join us in
helping the Idaho Falls Public Library!

The Friends of the Library publish a bimonthly
newsletter. These newsletters are sent to members and have great
information on the current events of the Library, the meetings and
activities of the Friends of the Library, and interesting information on
current books, popular authors, or trends in the library arena.

STATEMENT

| Friends of the Library is a
volunteer, non-profit organization dedicated to the furthering of the services
and programs of the Idaho Falls Public Library and to bringing the Library and
its patrons closer together. Any individual or organization wishing
to show its support of the Library is eligible for membership.
